Indonesian police intensify night patrols to prevent crime

Police forces in different Indonesian regions are intensifying night patrols to maintain public order and prevent criminal activity.

In Rejang Lebong, the Samapta Unit of the Rejang Lebong Police has been conducting daily patrols across various areas, including Curup, to prevent 3C crimes: theft with violence, theft with aggravation, and motor vehicle theft. Officers have also been instructed to advise teenagers loitering late at night to return home to prevent potential disturbances.

Similarly, in Lhokseumawe, the Star Reborn Team of the Lhokseumawe Police responded to citizen complaints by dispersing a group of teenagers gathering late at night in Mon Geudong Village. During the operation, police seized four motorcycles for document inspection and provided moral guidance and security education to the youths to prevent juvenile delinquency from escalating into more serious security issues.
