Indonesian Police mark 71st Traffic Day with community service

The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) and the South Sumatra Regional Police (Polda Sumsel) held various commemorative events to mark the 71st Bhayangkara Traffic Day.

In Jakarta, Korlantas Polri organized a ceremony led by Irjen Wibowo, followed by a joint prayer session at the At-Taqwa Mosque under the theme ‘Polantas Presisi, Mengabdi untuk Negeri’. The event included charitable donations to orphans and involved members of the public, including online motorcycle taxi drivers and couriers.

In Palembang, the South Sumatra Regional Police Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas Polda Sumsel) conducted a spiritual commemoration at the Nurul Qur’an Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School. The activities included collective prayers led by AKBP Mayestika Hidayat and social welfare initiatives such as blood donations and health services.
