Indonesian police seize methamphetamine in Lamongan and Lamandau raids

In Lamongan, East Java, police from the Satresnarkoba unit arrested a 33‑year‑old repeat offender identified as AK in a bedroom in Paciran. investigators seized eight packets of methamphetamine weighing about 6.17 grams, along with a black wallet, an empty plastic packet, a straw‑made tool, and a mobile phone used in the drug trade.

In Lamandau, Central Kalimantan, police destroyed 10.5 kg of methamphetamine seized from seven suspects after uncovering four cases linked to an international network that smuggles the drug from Malaysia. The seized product was slated for distribution across Kalimantan provinces, including Central, South, and East Kalimantan. Authorities highlighted the operation’s role in preventing the drug’s spread and noted the severe penalties for the traffickers.
