Indonesian police seize methamphetamine in West Java and Surabaya, arrest multiple suspects
Police in Kuningan, West Java seized 90 packages of methamphetamine weighing a total of 125.21 g, valued at approximately Rp197.8 million, along with two cannabis plants. The operation uncovered 11 drug cases, resulted in the arrest of 12 suspects—five of whom are repeat offenders—and seized additional psychotropic substances and restricted hard drugs.
In Surabaya, police at the Tanjung Perak Port dismantled a methamphetamine distribution network. Officers arrested a 29‑year‑old courier who used the Zangi messaging app to coordinate with a dealer known as “King.” The raid recovered 12 packets of methamphetamine totaling 12.18 g and linked the courier to prior convictions for drug trafficking.
