Indonesian police seize more than 300 g of methamphetamine in recent crackdowns

Police in East Java captured a 36‑year‑old suspect identified as RS in Madiun after expanding an earlier investigation in Ngawi. Officers seized 39.222 g of methamphetamine packaged for distribution, along with a digital scale, plastic packaging, a mobile phone and a motorcycle used in the trade. The suspect is being held for further questioning.

In West Java, the Cimahi police announced the arrest of 35 people across 33 drug‑trafficking cases in the past month. Authorities confiscated 263.24 g of methamphetamine, synthetic tobacco, ecstasy tablets, limited hard‑drug tablets and liquid nicotine, valuing the seized items at roughly Rp800 million and claiming the operation prevented about 100 000 potential users from exposure.
