Indonesian police thwart teen gang violence in Asahan and Depok

Police seized the knife and two mobile phones and began a formal investigation under the Indonesian Criminal Code.
In Depok, the Jaguar Precise Team of the Metro Depok Police detained 13 teenagers who were gathering in Sukamaju Baru. Officers recovered twelve sharp weapons believed to be intended for a forthcoming brawl. Both operations were prompted by community reports and were aimed at preventing public disorder and gang‑related violence.
