Indonesian political parties hold regional consultative meetings

Political parties in Indonesia are conducting regional organizational meetings to strengthen their structures ahead of upcoming elections.

In Ciamis, West Java, the United Development Party (PPP) held a sub-district consultative meeting (Musancab) for Electoral District 5, covering the Banjarsari, Purwadadi, Lakbok, and Banjaranyar districts. PPP Ciamis Chairperson Arief Maoshul Afandy stated the meeting aims to rejuvenate leadership and evaluate party machinery. The party's goal is to secure at least one seat per electoral district, with a specific target of two seats for District 5.

In Medan, North Sumatra, the PDI Perjuangan party held its sixth sub-district consultative meeting (Musancab VI) to consolidate and strengthen the organization at the sub-district level. The opening event featured cultural performances by the Universitas Audi Indonesia dance studio, intended to integrate cultural appreciation with political organizational activities.
