Indonesian regional governments distribute production aid to MSMEs

The Karawang Regency government, through its Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs, has distributed production equipment to micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors. Each recipient received aid valued between Rp4 million and Rp5 million. Karawang Regent Aep Syaepuloh stated that the assistance aims to support consistent business owners and boost local economic competitiveness. He also expressed a commitment to increasing the department's budget to between Rp12 billion and Rp13 billion by 2027.

In a separate initiative, the Gorontalo Provincial Department of Cooperatives, MSMEs, Industry, and Trade conducted monitoring and evaluation in Pohuwato Regency. Officials visited various locations, including wood industries in Marisa and Duhiadaa districts, to ensure that previously distributed production materials are being used effectively. The monitoring process aims to assess business growth, production output, and the specific challenges faced by small and medium industries to inform future government support and guidance.
