Regional governments in Indonesia are managing various infrastructure challenges. In West Bandung Regency, officials have completed 26 out of 34 targeted road repairs for the year. Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail stated that the administration is optimizing regional budgets and seeking central government support to address long-standing road condition needs.

In Banjarbaru, the Public Works Department has faced a 51 percent budget reduction, dropping from Rp270 billion to Rp130 billion. This has led to the suspension of the Pondok Mangga to Pondok Jeruk road project, which was intended to support the Aerocity Banjarbaru area. Instead, resources are being redirected toward the 43-kilometer Banjarbaru Ring Road project, which is slated for completion by 2029.

Meanwhile, in Bandung, Mayor Muhammad Farhan addressed concerns regarding non-disability-friendly sidewalks and BRT areas in Kiaracondong. The Mayor committed to coordinating with BRT managers to review designs and ensure better accessibility for people with disabilities, while also addressing logistical access issues caused by transit infrastructure.
