Indonesian Rider Abimanyu Bintang Fermadi Wins Double in Thailand

Indonesian motorcycle racer Abimanyu Bintang Fermadi, a graduate of the Astra Honda Racing School and rider for PT Astra Honda Motor, secured victories in both races of the Idemitsu Honda Thailand Talent Cup (IHTTC) 2026. The event took place at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand on 1‑2 August 2026.

After qualifying fifth, Abimanyu started Race 1 from the middle of the grid, navigated a red‑flag interruption and held his composure to win the first race. In Race 2 he began from tenth position but overtook rivals throughout the laps to claim a second win, completing a double‑winner weekend. His teammate Giovanni Cornelius Gani replaced Resky Yusuf for the event.

The double victory highlights the success of Astra Honda’s development program and brings pride to Indonesian motorsport.
