IPC TPK reports rising container volumes and hosts MAGENTA interns

IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) reported positive operational performance, with container handling volumes reaching 2.51 million TEUs from January to August 2026, an 8.37 percent increase year-on-year. Growth was observed across several terminals, including a 13.2 percent increase at Tanjung Priok and 14.6 percent at Teluk Bayur.

In conjunction with operational activities, IPC TPK hosted 46 participants from Pelindo’s MAGENTA internship program. The initiative, organized by BP BUMN, aims to provide students and fresh graduates with real-world experience in the logistics and port industry. Participants toured the Integrated Planning & Control Room and the Tanjung Priok container field to observe digital terminal workflows and cargo handling.

Separately, PT Pegadaian conducted the “Alumni Calling” session as part of the “Connecting Generations” program at Universitas Andalas. Ismail Ilyas, Director of Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance at PT Pegadaian, shared professional insights and leadership perspectives with hundreds of students to support human resource development and career readiness.
