Indonesian toll road construction reaches key milestones

Major toll road infrastructure projects in Indonesia are reaching significant construction milestones.

PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has reported that construction on the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road (Package 2A) has reached 85.20% progress. The company aims to complete the project in the first quarter of 2027 for all areas where land acquisition is complete. The project is expected to improve connectivity between the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and West Java regions, serving as an alternative to the existing Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Meanwhile, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) reported high progress on the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road. The Ambarawa-Bawen section (Section 6), covering 4.98 kilometers, is 98.68% complete and is projected to begin operations by the end of 2026. Additionally, the Prambanan-Purwomartani segment of the Yogyakarta-Solo Toll Road has reached 92.54% physical progress.
