Indonesian traffic police receive national awards

During the 71st Bhayangkara Traffic Police Anniversary, several Indonesian police units and personnel received national awards from the National Police Chief.

The North Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kaltara) secured three distinct honors. These include the Commander Wish Polantas Karib award for police departments with fewer than 10 sub-districts, the IRSMS Award 2025 for Type B regional police in the category of traffic accident data analysis and policy formulation, and a victory in a high school-level scientific paper competition. Kombes Pol. Jamal Alam H. attributed these achievements to the dedication of field personnel and emphasized a commitment to improving public service.

In Karawang, Aipda Syarif Hidayat of the Karawang Police was honored for his creative use of social media to provide traffic education and build a positive image of the police force. Karawang Police Chief Kombes Mario Prahatinto expressed pride in the officer's ability to socialize traffic safety through digital platforms.
