Indonesian universities send student teams to Abdidaya Ormawa 2026

Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) and Universitas Jember (UNEJ) have officially dispatched student contingents to participate in the Abdidaya Ormawa 2026 national competition. The event is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 25, 2026, at the Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) in Makassar.

UNM is sending three teams from the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) to showcase their community service achievements. The university leadership, including Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, expressed appreciation for the students' dedication to representing the institution at a national level.

Universitas Jember is sending five student organization teams focusing on diverse community empowerment innovations. These programs include oral health and nutrition for the elderly, circular economy models for agrarian villages, IoT-based flood early warning systems, sustainable forest village empowerment, and agroforestry for food security.
