Bank Indonesia launches SINDANG PRIATIM platform to monitor food prices
Bank Indonesia’s regional office in Tasikmalaya, together with local governments, launched the SINDANG PRIATIM platform on 30 July 2026. The system integrates food‑price and supply data from the districts of Tasikmalaya, Ciamis, Banjar and Pangandaran, providing a single view of commodity balances, surplus‑deficit figures and cheap‑market operations.
The platform features an early‑warning system and AI‑based price‑projection tools that analyse historical price patterns to flag potential upward pressure. It is intended to support regional inflation‑control teams in monitoring price trends and coordinating timely interventions. Deputy Head of the Bank Indonesia Tasikmalaya representation, Azhar Livaldy Setyawigona, officiated the launch, emphasizing the need for fast, accurate data to guide price‑stabilisation programmes.
