Indonesia's BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Bank BJB Strike New Partnerships to Aid Workers

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has signed a cooperation agreement with Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to expand sharia‑based housing financing for its members, including mortgage, renovation and down‑payment loans. The partnership aims to broaden access to affordable home‑ownership and improve workers' welfare.

Separately, bank bjb and the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the competence of the national workforce. The agreement includes capacity‑building programmes, financial product support and collective loan repayment services to strengthen human‑resource development and promote inclusive economic growth.

Both initiatives reflect Indonesia's broader effort to integrate financial services with social‑security and labour agencies to boost employee welfare and skill development.
