The Constitutional Court of Indonesia (Mahkamah Konstitusi) issued Decision No. 273/PUU‑XXIII/2025, ruling that telecom operators may not automatically invalidate a subscriber’s remaining data quota when a prepaid package expires. The court ordered operators to provide at least one option—such as rollover, extension of the active period, transfer to a new package, compensation, or refund—so that the purchased quota remains usable until fully consumed.
