Indonesia's Education Ministry advances inclusive education and school revitalization

The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikdasmen) and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) held a forum in Jakarta to gather aspirations for strengthening inclusive and data‑driven education across ASEAN. Minister Abdul Mu'ti said the research data presented will serve as input for policy formulation on basic and secondary education, emphasizing evidence‑based decisions and the role of digital technology.

Together with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (Kemenko PMK), the ministry inaugurated the revitalization of SDN Cimahpar 5 in Bogor, West Java. The project, funded with about Rp2.6 billion and carried out through a self‑managed scheme involving local committees, municipal support and the ministry, added a second floor and new classrooms. Officials highlighted the need to improve both infrastructure and learning quality, echoing President Prabowo Subianto's call for ambitious students.
