Indonesia's ETLE Hub detects 72,236 cargo vehicle violations in first month

The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation's Directorate General of Land Transportation has reported significant data from its first month of implementing the ETLE Hub system. Between August 10 and September 10, 2026, the electronic law enforcement system recorded 72,236 total detections across 51 monitoring points.

These detections involved 46,034 unique vehicle license plates, averaging 2,257 detections per day. Director General Aan Suhanan noted that 52.4% of the detections came from vehicles appearing more than once in the system. He clarified that these automated detections must undergo a verification process before any legal action is taken.

The data highlights specific patterns of violation for cargo transport: 39.8% related to documentation issues, 36.7% related to load capacity, 23.4% involved a combination of both, and 0.1% concerned loading procedures. This initiative is part of the government's broader effort to achieve ‘Zero Over Dimension Over Loading’ (ODOL) by 2027.
