GoTo posts Q2 2026 profit as fintech outpaces on‑demand services
PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk reported a net profit of Rp252 billion for the second quarter of 2026, marking the second consecutive profitable quarter. Adjusted group EBITDA surpassed Rp1 trillion for the first time, reaching about Rp1.01 trillion.
Fintech unit GoPay drove much of the growth, posting EBITDA of roughly Rp481 billion, which exceeded the On‑demand Services (ODS) segment’s Rp464 billion. Gross Transaction Value (GTV) rose 83 % YoY to Rp164 trillion, while total net revenue grew 31 % to Rp5.7 trillion. Annual transacting users increased 19 % to 71 million.
The company navigated a new 8 % commission rate on two‑wheel ride‑hailing services introduced on 1 July 2026, stating that the impact on operations remains manageable. In response, GoTo adjusted its 2026 performance targets: group EBITDA of Rp3.2‑3.4 trillion, fintech EBITDA target of Rp1.7‑1.8 trillion, and ODS target of Rp1.4‑1.5 trillion.
