Indonesia's KAI posts Rp2.28 trillion profit and strong cash flow
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) reported a net profit of Rp2.28 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year, a 2.77% increase from 2024. Operating cash flow rose sharply to Rp7.15 trillion, up 36.43%, while cash and cash equivalents grew 37.22% to Rp6.76 trillion.
Total consolidated revenue reached Rp35.76 trillion, with operating profit climbing 10.35% to Rp8.39 trillion. The company served 503.5 million passengers and moved 69.8 million tonnes of freight. Total assets expanded 8.58% to Rp105.43 trillion and equity rose 11.23% to Rp39.29 trillion.
KAI’s executives emphasized that the healthier balance sheet reinforces the railway’s ability to maintain safety, upgrade infrastructure, and improve service quality for commuters, students, travelers and logistics customers across Indonesia.
