Indonesia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to host 2026 MSME Expo

The Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is preparing to host the 2026 Hajj and Umrah MSME and Ecosystem Expo. The event aims to strengthen the economic ecosystem surrounding the pilgrimage by fostering collaboration between the government, business actors, and MSMEs.

Organizers expect the expo to attract approximately 10,000 visitors and feature around 300 tenants, with 260 already registered. The expo will be held in conjunction with the 2026 Grand Hajj Ritual Training Kick-Off, an event designed to prepare pilgrims for the 1448 H/2027 M season. The training session is expected to involve 15,000 in-person participants and 150,000 online attendees.

As the Ministry marks its first year of operation, officials emphasize a commitment to improving professional, safe, and comfortable services for Indonesian pilgrims. The ministry aims to use this milestone to drive innovation and adapt to the evolving dynamics of pilgrimage management in Saudi Arabia.
