Indonesia's Ministry of Transmigration evaluates TEP 2026 programs

The Indonesian Ministry of Transmigration is conducting a monitoring and evaluation session for the 2026 Patriot Expedition Team (TEP) programs to ensure they meet established targets for transmigration transformation.

Deputy Minister of Transmigration Viva Yoga Mauladi stated that a holistic review is necessary because field implementation faces various dynamics, including community aspirations, social conditions, climate, and topography. The goal is to ensure that adjustments made to address these local factors do not deviate from the agreed-upon outputs and objectives.

The TEP 2026 program involves 1,476 participants divided into 246 teams operating across 53 transmigration areas. These participants include professors, doctors, masters, and bachelor's degree holders from ten partner state universities, including the University of Indonesia, IPB University, and Gadjah Mada University. Their tasks involve creating models, prototypes, and policy recommendations to drive industrialization and economic development in transmigration zones.
