Indonesia's mobile license and tax offices serve Bandung and Bali

On Monday, 27 July 2026, the Bandung police department deployed two mobile SIM service vans to provide driver’s licence renewals. One van operated from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB at Tenth Avenue, Jalan Soekarno‑Hatta, while the other served passengers at ITC Kebon Kelapa, Jalan Pungkur. The service handled extensions for SIM A and C, charging the rates set by the 2016 non‑tax revenue regulation.

The same day, a mobile Samsat (vehicle‑tax) unit visited three locations in Bali. In Denpasar, the kiosk was set up in front of the Museum Bali, Puputan Badung from 08:00 to 12:00 WITA. In Gianyar, it operated at the Village Office parking area in Ubud from 16:00 to 19:00 WITA, and in Karangasem it served the Banjar Batang area from 09:00 to 12:00 WITA. These units processed STNK extensions and other vehicle‑tax paperwork, aiming to bring public services closer to residents.
