Indonesia's Mobile SIM Renewal Service Launches in Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, Bandung

The police mobile unit known as SIM Keliling resumed operations on Monday, 15 June 2026, offering on‑site renewal of SIM A and SIM C licences. In Jakarta the service was available at five locations: Mall Grand Cakung (East), LTC Glodok (West), Kampus Trilogi Kalibata (South), Mall Artha Gading (North) and the Post Office at Lapangan Banteng (Central). In Bogor it operated from Mall BTM and Mall Jambu Dua, in Bekasi from a Burger King outlet in Harapan Indah, and in Bandung at the Tenth Avenue store on Jalan Soekarno‑Hatta and ITC Kebon Kelapa.

Applicants were required to bring their original KTP, the current SIM, a health certificate and a psychology test result, with renewal fees of Rp 80,000 for SIM A and Rp 75,000 for SIM C, excluding health‑check costs. The following day, 16 June, coincided with the national Islamic New Year holiday, prompting the suspension of SIM Keliling services in Jakarta, Bekasi and Bandung. Bogor’s mobile unit remained open at the same mall locations, while services in the other cities were scheduled to reopen on 17 June, giving drivers a one‑day extension to complete renewals.
