Indonesia's Mobile SIM Service Rolls Out in Bandung and Bali
On Tuesday, 9 June 2026, Indonesia’s police traffic units launched mobile driver’s‑license (SIM) service vans in West Java and Bali. In Bandung, two vans operated at Rest Area 78 (Kiara Artha Park) and Pasar Modern Batununggal from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB, offering extensions for SIM A and C before expiry and new issuances for expired licences. Fees are Rp 80,000 for SIM A and Rp 75,000 for SIM C. In Bali, vans visited Badung (Damkar Dalung and Mall Pelayanan Publik) from 08:00 WITA, Buleleng (Parkiran Krisna, Banjar) from 08:30 WITA, and Gianyar (Goa Gajah) from 08:30 WITA, providing the same renewal and issuance services. The initiative aims to simplify access to driver’s licences by bringing the service directly to the public.
