Indonesia's Pemalang and Banjarbaru Launch Anti‑Drug Education Initiatives

In Pemalang, the local Satpol PP unit and the fire department organised a "Satpol PP Goes To School" event at SMP Negeri 5 Comal. The program delivered lessons on national values, drug avoidance and digital literacy. Speakers included Bakesbangpol head R. Bambang Murdiyoko, police officer Aris Widiyanto and Diskominfo representative Regina Nila Puspaningtyas, who stressed discipline, anti‑drug attitudes and responsible use of technology.

In Banjarbaru, the city government held a community outreach under the "Gerakan Kelurahan Bersinar" (Clean‑from‑Drugs) programme in Kelurahan Sungai Ulin. The event featured officials from Kesbangpol, the local BNN unit, police, prison authorities and the ICT department. Leader Hidayaturahman highlighted that successful drug prevention requires active participation from the whole community, including religious leaders, students and residents.

Both initiatives demonstrate cross‑agency collaboration to educate youth and local communities about the dangers of narcotics and to promote a healthy, drug‑free environment in Indonesian regions.
