Indonesia's Press Family and Youth Organizations Celebrate Milestone Anniversaries

The Indonesian Journalists' Family Association (IKWI) marked its 65th anniversary on 21 July 2026 at the Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium in Jakarta. The hybrid ceremony featured a national webinar on the transition from gas to electric stoves, a traditional fashion show with participants from 18 provinces, and speeches emphasizing cultural preservation and organisational adaptation.

Two days later, the National Youth Committee of Indonesia (KNPI) celebrated its 53rd anniversary on 23 July 2026 at its headquarters on Jalan Rasuna Said, Jakarta. The event included a prayer session, a symbolic tumpeng cutting, and the distribution of aid to orphaned children, with the head of police intelligence attending as a guest.

Both celebrations highlighted solidarity among members, social responsibility, and a commitment to fostering Indonesia’s cultural and youth development.
