PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT INTI), a state‑owned telecommunications firm, is set to be dissolved as part of a government drive to trim the number of BUMN entities to roughly 250. Chief Operating Officer Dony Oskaria of Danantara said the closure is still under assessment and confirmed that there will be no termination of employment for the company's staff.

As of the end of 2024, PT INTI employs 171 people, a 43.9% reduction from 305 in 2020. The move follows broader concerns about financial health and governance across several BUMN, including Djakarta Lloyd and Krakatau Steel, prompting a consolidation under a Danantara‑run super‑holding aimed at better inter‑company support.

Oskaria emphasized that the employee workforce will remain intact while the company’s assets and operations are evaluated for possible integration or wind‑down.
