Indonesia's WIKA and HKI push ahead with Gospier quay revamp and Jakarta‑Cikampek II toll expansion
PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) reports that the revitalisation of the Gospier quay in East Java, a key node for national fuel, LPG and aviation‑turbo fuel distribution, is 55.77 % complete as of May 2026. Works include protective structures, underwater surveys, dredging, and the installation of guard houses, panel rooms and jetty access. The project aims to deliver a more reliable, safe harbour to sustain energy logistics for Surabaya and surrounding areas.
PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), part of the WIKA‑PP‑KMK‑HKI consortium, says its Jakarta‑Cikampek II South Toll, Package 2A, is 84 % finished by the end of June 2026. Major tasks involve concrete rigid‑pavement laying on main‑road zones and the installation of 24 girder spans, with four remaining on high‑rise ramps up to 28 m. The 62‑km toll is intended to improve connectivity between Jakarta, West Java and Bandung, ease congestion on the existing Japek corridor and support faster movement of people and goods. Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2027.
