Indoor plants and decor ideas for home improvement

Indoor plants serve both aesthetic and functional purposes, such as improving indoor air quality. Popular and relatively easy-to-maintain varieties include Sansevieria, which is highly resilient to various light conditions and requires minimal watering, and Pothos, known for its rapid growth and heart-shaped leaves. Other suitable options include Zamioculcas (ZZ plant), Philodendron, Aglaonema, Spathiphyllum, Areca Palm, and Monstera.

Beyond air purification, houseplants can be used strategically in interior design to transform unused corners of a home. Empty spaces near windows, sofas, or hallways can be revitalized using large planters, vertical bookshelves, small workstations, or cozy reading nooks equipped with comfortable chairs and lamps. Mirrors and slim furniture are also suggested as effective ways to utilize small or awkward spaces without cluttering the environment.
