Indore car fire: Merchant and companion escape as vehicle is destroyed

A car caught fire on Sunday night near the Collector's office in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, while in motion. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM near GDC College on the MR-10 road.

Merchant Shailendra Jain and a companion were traveling toward Mhow Naka when smoke began emanating from the vehicle's bonnet. The occupants managed to exit the vehicle immediately upon noticing the smoke, preventing any casualties. Shortly after they exited, the car was engulfed in flames.

Firefighting teams arrived at the scene and used approximately one tanker of water to extinguish the blaze, though the vehicle was completely destroyed. Local police from the Juni Indore station are investigating the incident, with preliminary findings suggesting a short circuit in the wiring system as the likely cause.
