Indore Crime Branch arrests three for MD drug smuggling

The Indore Crime Branch has arrested three individuals for allegedly smuggling MD drugs (mephedrone) hidden inside an auto-rickshaw's toolbox. The operation took place near the Sai Temple in the Hukumsand Mill area during a special campaign against illegal drug trafficking.

Police recovered 20 grams of MD drugs, valued at approximately 2 lakh rupees, and seized the auto-rickshaw used in the smuggling attempt. The total value of the seized items is estimated at around 5 lakh rupees. The arrested individuals have been identified as Naru Khan, Adil Khan, and Aman.

Authorities noted that Adil and Naru have prior criminal records under the NDPS Act, with Adil also having a case registered under the Arms Act. The Crime Branch is currently interrogating the suspects to identify the source of the drugs and dismantle the broader supply network.
