Indore: Family alleges medical negligence in death of 20-year-old woman after delivery

A 20-year-old woman, Naina Vanskar, died in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, following complications after her first delivery. Her family has accused doctors at Orange Hospital in Rajmohalla of medical negligence, alleging that she experienced excessive bleeding during surgery.

According to her husband, Azad Vanskar, the family sought medical attention at multiple facilities. After finding no doctors available at P.C. Sethi Hospital and receiving inadequate treatment at MTH Hospital, they admitted her to Orange Hospital. Following the procedure, her condition deteriorated, and she was referred to Aurobindo Hospital, where she passed away on September 10.

The family also reported difficulties with local authorities, stating they were redirected between the Banganga, Malharganj, and Raoji Bazar police stations while attempting to arrange a post-mortem. The Banganga police have since registered a case and initiated an investigation. A post-mortem was conducted at the district hospital on Sunday, and further action will be determined based on the medical report.
