Indore hosts major Garba festivals for Navratri

Indore is hosting major Garba festivals as part of the Navratri celebrations. The Aarambh Garba Mahotsav 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 16 at Baba Shri Garden on Airport Road, featuring traditional music, dhol performances, and mandatory traditional attire for participants.

Simultaneously, the Abhivyakti Garba Mahotsav has commenced at the C-21 Estate Ground on Bypass Road. This year’s event features a theme based on Lord Shrinathji and has expanded its venue to approximately 400,000 square feet to accommodate larger crowds. The festival includes professional choreography training, a high-tech music system, and various food stalls representing different Indian states.
