Indore launches Cyber Wellness Center for women and children
A Cyber Wellness Center has been launched in Indore to provide free technical, legal, and psychological assistance to women and children facing cybercrime, online harassment, and digital harm. The center was inaugurated by Nirmala Bhuria, the Minister for Women and Child Development.
Developed by the Department of Women and Child Development in collaboration with the Ahan Foundation’s ‘Project Responsible Netizism’ and the Cogta Foundation, the facility aims to offer immediate and sensitive support. Services include free counseling, psychosocial and emotional support, technical and legal guidance, and assistance in reporting cyber incidents.
In addition to victim support, the center will conduct awareness programs for women, children, and communities regarding digital resilience, cyber rights, and responsible online behavior.
