Indore: Man dies by suicide following dispute during Garba event

A 23-year-old man, identified as Chirag Sen, died after consuming poison following a dispute with his girlfriend during a Garba night in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. According to reports, the conflict arose after Chirag observed the woman, identified as Nisha, dancing with another man.

Chirag had been in a relationship with Nisha for four years and had been living with her for the past five months. Following the incident on Sunday, he was rushed to the hospital by friends but succumbed to the poison on Monday.

In response to the death, family members and friends staged a protest by placing the body at a local intersection. Demonstrators carried posters reading ‘Justice for Chirag’ and demanded that the police file an FIR against the woman. Local police officials, including ACP Rubina Mizwani, arrived at the scene to manage the situation.
