Indore police arrest suspect in vehicle rental and theft gang

Police in Indore have dismantled a gang that specialized in renting high-end vehicles and subsequently selling them in other states. The Tejaji Nagar police arrested one suspect, Shivam, also known as Gabbu, and recovered two Mahindra Thars and one Scorpio valued at approximately 60 lakh rupees.

The gang's method involved renting vehicles under contract and building trust by depositing rental payments directly into the owners' bank accounts. Once trust was established, the suspects would remove the vehicles' GPS tracking systems and sell them in different states. One other suspect, Vishal, also known as Bhola, remains at large as investigations continue into the full extent of the gang's operations.
