Indore Police Commissioner Addresses 89 Public Grievances in City Hearing
On 28 July, the Indore police commissioner, Santosh Kumar Singh, organised a public hearing to hear citizen complaints. A total of 89 applications were presented, covering family disputes such as son‑in‑law or spouse harassment, financial fraud, land and property fraud, unpaid dues, and women's safety issues.
Singh listened to each petitioner, directed senior officials to take immediate corrective action, and assured the public of the police’s commitment to safety, justice and rights. Senior officers, including Mayank Awasthi, were present, and on‑site measures were initiated. The police also highlighted ongoing mediation through dedicated centres to resolve disputes peacefully and swiftly.
