Indore Police Head Constable Firoz Khan under investigation for assets worth 68 crore rupees
Lokayukta police in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, are investigating Head Constable Firoz Khan for possessing disproportionate assets. Investigators have identified 51 immovable properties linked to Khan and his associates, with an estimated current market value exceeding 68 crore rupees. While the government guideline value of these properties is approximately 19.94 crore rupees, the market valuation shows a significant discrepancy.
Recent findings include 1.15 hectares of agricultural land in Rajoda village, Dewas, valued at approximately 2.30 crore rupees. The investigation is currently scrutinizing the sources of funds used for these purchases and the actual ownership of the assets, which include holdings in the names of family members, acquaintances, and related companies.
Following raids conducted on October 14, 2026, at various locations in Indore and Dewas, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is reportedly considering involvement. The ED has requested information from the Lokayukta police regarding Khan's assets to investigate potential money laundering aspects.
