Indore Police probe Dubai link in online betting case

Indore Police have arrested three additional individuals—identified as Rahul, Dharmendra, and Swapnadeep—in connection with an ongoing online betting investigation. During the interrogation of the suspects and an examination of digital trails, investigators reportedly discovered a connection to Dubai.

Authorities are also investigating the alleged involvement of Nana Patwari, the brother of Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari. Police stated that a betting application was initially downloaded using a mobile number linked to the accused Swapnadeep, and the same application was subsequently accessed via Nana Patwari’s mobile phone using the same ID.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 1 Narendra Singh Rawat confirmed that Nana Patwari’s bank transactions are currently under review. Investigators are working to determine if he will be formally named as an accused following the financial audit. To date, 12 people have been arrested in the case.
