Indore police seize MD drugs and arrest multiple suspects in narcotics raids
Police and Crime Branch authorities in Indore have conducted multiple operations against drug trafficking, resulting in the seizure of approximately 77 grams of MD drugs and several arrests.
In one operation led by the Lasudia police, six individuals were arrested after authorities recovered 64.85 grams of MD, valued at approximately 3.50 lakh rupees. The arrests included Harsh Sharma, Rupali Rawal, and Rani Kaushal, who were found in an Airbnb-booked flat, as well as Shehzad Chaudhary and Mohammad Saddam, who were apprehended near the Niranjanpur vegetable market. A third suspect, Sheikh Anas, was apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan, following technical intelligence from the cyber cell. Investigations revealed that Anas allegedly turned to trafficking to fund his upcoming wedding.
In a separate action, the Indore Crime Branch arrested Aman, a resident of Chandan Nagar, seizing over 12.5 grams of MD valued at roughly 1.25 lakh rupees. Additionally, authorities arrested two individuals from Khachrod, Ujjain, in connection with an older narcotics case. Law enforcement officials stated that investigations are ongoing to identify the broader supply networks and additional accomplices involved in these trafficking activities.
