Indore Resident Arpit Haada Drowns in Narmada River at Maheshwar, Body Found After 9‑Hour Search

On Sunday, 30‑year‑old Arpit Haada from Indore fell into the fast‑flowing Narmada River at the Sahas­tra Dhara ghat in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, while visiting the site with his family. His wife and brother shouted for help, but the strong current carried him away. Police, Home Guard personnel and local divers launched a rescue operation that continued through the night. After about nine hours of searching on Monday, the team recovered Haada’s body. Authorities have urged visitors to avoid the riverbank during the monsoon season and to follow safety guidelines at river ghats.
