Indra awarded 1.65 million euro defense contract
Indra has been awarded a contract by the Spanish Ministry of Defense valued at 1.65 million euros (excluding taxes) for the maintenance of electronic, optical, and optronic systems in Spanish Army armored vehicles.
The contract, which stems from a pre-existing framework agreement, is expected to be completed by November 30 and does not allow for extensions. Under the terms of the agreement, Indra is subject to a three-year responsibility and quality guarantee period following the delivery of services, during which any defects must be resolved at no additional cost to the Ministry.
Additionally, the Ministry of Defense has awarded a separate, smaller contract to Escribano Mechanical & Engineering (EM&E) for the maintenance of a verification arm, valued at 20,661 euros excluding taxes.
