Indra Sistemas undergoes leadership changes and expands defense manufacturing

Indra Sistemas has undergone internal structural changes, including the revocation of Ángel de Álvaro Montero as an attorney, according to the Official Registry of Commerce. This move occurs as the company strengthens its role in the Spanish defense sector, where the state-owned SEPI holds a 27.99% stake.

In a separate strategic development, Indra Group and Gutmar have signed an agreement to manufacture high-precision components for defense programs in Catalonia. The partnership focuses on CNC machining for land, naval, and aerospace systems, as well as the fabrication of mechanical structures for radars and electronic sensors. The collaboration aims to bolster a resilient supply chain by integrating Indra’s systems expertise with Gutmar’s industrial experience in complex mechanical components.
