inDrive, a global smart transportation platform and leading application in Egypt, is enhancing its safety strategy through advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The company is shifting from traditional security measures to a predictive system designed to identify and prevent risks before they occur.

The safety framework includes mandatory verification processes for drivers, such as official document checks, identity matching via platform photos, and technical vehicle inspections. To ensure ongoing compliance, inDrive utilizes a ‘Photocontrol’ system that requires drivers to perform periodic selfie checks and vehicle photo updates to confirm that the person driving matches the registered data.

Additionally, the platform employs AI to monitor for abnormal behaviors and detect duplicate profiles or multiple accounts managed from a single device. If discrepancies are detected, the system triggers immediate automated reviews and restricts driver access until verification is successfully completed.
