Querétaro expands mobility with inDrive and 711 QroTAXI concessions

Authorities in Querétaro, Mexico, have announced the expansion of local mobility options through the incorporation of inDrive into the state's transportation services and the issuance of 711 new QroTAXI concessions.

Gerardo Cuanalo Santos, director of the Querétaro Mobility Agency (AMEQ), stated that inDrive has met all necessary requirements to operate, including maintaining local user service offices and providing driver and vehicle information to ensure passenger safety. The platform utilizes a model where drivers and passengers agree on fares in advance.

The 711 new QroTAXI concessions will be distributed across various municipalities, with 412 allocated to the Metropolitan Zone, 120 to Pedro Escobedo, and 64 to San Juan del Río. The application process is scheduled to run online from August 17 to October 30.

As part of the program, beneficiaries can acquire Nissan V-Drive 2026 units at a preferential price of 285,000 pesos, following a negotiated agreement with Nissan Mexicana and a 15,000-peso government subsidy. Financing options are available for up to 60 months, and the program includes benefits such as zero down payment and specialized insurance costs.
