inDrive expands operations and reports growth in Latin America
The mobility platform inDrive has formalized its operations in Querétaro, Mexico, following registration with the State Mobility Agency (AMEQ). The company reported over 200,000 verified users in the state and is implementing new mandatory security protocols. These include identity verification via official ID photos and selfies, alongside tools such as route monitoring, emergency buttons, and AI-driven risk analysis.
In Central America and the Caribbean, inDrive reported a 45% growth in the Guatemalan market during the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. The company maintains a peer-to-peer negotiation model for fares, allowing passengers and drivers to agree on prices directly rather than relying on automated algorithms. inDrive currently operates in more than 1,200 cities across 47 countries.
