Industria Kielce and Wisła Płock to face off for Polish Handball Super Cup

The Polish Super Cup in handball is scheduled to take place on August 29 at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. The event will feature both men's and women's championship matches.

In the men's competition, the reigning Polish champions Industria Kielce will face ORLEN Wisła Płock, the winner of the Polish Cup. This matchup is regarded as a major rivalry in Polish sports. Industria Kielce enters the match with 21 championship titles and a Champions League victory, while Wisła Płock is a nine-time national champion. The match is set for 19:00.

The women's Super Cup will take place earlier at 15:00, featuring KGHM Zagłębie Lubin, the previous season's champion and cup winner, against runners-up PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin.

Organizers have noted high interest in the event, with nearly five thousand tickets sold three weeks in advance. The festivities will include the Superpuchar Park, featuring various activities for fans and the Anilana Cup, a youth tournament involving approximately 1,650 young players from 110 domestic and international teams.
