Industria Kielce secures Champions League advancement

Industria Kielce has officially advanced to the group stage of the EHF Champions League following a 32:30 away victory against Swiss side HC Kriens-Lucerne. The win, achieved in the fifth round of the group stage, ensures the Polish champions will secure at least second place in Group F.

Despite facing significant roster challenges—including the absence of key players such as Dylan Nahi, Milorad Bakić, Arkadiusz Moryto, Szymon Sićko, and Luka Klarica—the team managed to overcome a difficult start. The match was highly competitive, with the Swiss hosts utilizing a seven-on-six offensive tactic to maintain pressure. A pivotal moment occurred in the second half when a red card was issued to Jerome Mueller following a foul on Michał Olejniczak.

Key contributors for the Polish side included Artem Karalek and Julien Bos, who helped stabilize the lead during the closing stages of the match. With this advancement secured, Industria Kielce will conclude their group stage campaign in their final match against the Norwegian side Kolstad Handball.
